The town was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Scenario
Solve the mystery of a town in the middle of the United States that locks anyone in. As the townspeople struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the dangers of the surrounding forest. Known as Beaver Bank Cottage, it has a long history and was once home to apartments, a community center, a fire station, a school, a church, a general store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s.
A rope is lowered down to him
All that remains are the cobblestone streets and alleys on which the fake town has been built. When Boyd climbs a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. When Boyd emerges from the well, Martin is the only one in the room and is chained to the wall. The rope was not thrown by Martin.
This show was much better than I expected
Appears in «Half in the Bag: Catching Up Mid-Year 2022» Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, performed by The Pixies. I thought the whole premise didn’t have much potential, but it turned out to be something else. However, I’m still left with a lot of questions that need to be answered, especially after the final scenes of the second season finale (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing).
This one has potential
I think we deserved at least some answers before we had to wait for season 3. But I have to admit, I was impressed after the finale! I just hope the creators of the series keep up this level, or maybe even improve it. I’m tired of good shows that are completely screwed up by the creators.
